Back in early 2016 my brother called me and asked: "Hey, there's this board game called Smallworld,
wanna buy it?". In the end we couldn't get a copy of Smallworld, but bought Wizwar instead. After having a lot of fun with that, we went back to the store a week later and bought Terra Mystica, which we played for 8 hours straight. And thus my love for heavy board games was born.
After buying, selling, and playing loads of different board games, I started doing some proofreading for German translations of board games as well as some editing. Soon after I started translating them as well and now I work fulltime translating board games from English to German. Since then I have translated over 1 million words and worked on over 100 different board games.
The services I offer include translation, proofreading, and editing of board games, as well as animation.
If you have a board game and need a German translation for it, contact me below!
Cheers,
Paul
